About Dr. Cedric L James

Dr. Cedric L. James is a native of Atlanta, GA, and was reared on the south side of Chicago. He accomplished formal education at St. Francis De Sales High School, Chicago, IL., matriculated at Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA., and is a graduate of North Texas Theological Seminary Wills Point, TX. where he obtained a B.A. of Biblical Studies, M.A. of Theology, and PhD of Theology & Ministry. 

 

Dr. James was afforded the opportunity to grow under the tutelage of his grandfather, the late Rev. Dr. Ollie James, Jr., who was the founder & pastor of Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Chicago, IL. where his love of God and the church was developed.  Dr. James is an accomplished preacher, teacher, songwriter, composer, orator & author.

 

Dr. James has served and serves in multiple capacities over a 35 year span:

 

Senior Pastor Dunamis Life & Praise Center, Chicago, IL., Rivers Flow Christian Center, Bedford, TX., and ELEV8 Worship Center, Chicago, IL.

 

Presiding Prelate and Primate Rivers Flow Fellowship of Churches, one of the founding fathers of Rehoboth Fellowship International and New Century Fellowship Of Churches.

 

Consecrated Bishop of the Lord’s Church and member of the Joint College Of African American Pentecostal Bishops, Cleveland, OH.
